Elements Restaurant is on the 25th floor of The Okura Prestige Bangkok. We went for dinner on a quiet weekday evening, curious to see how this Michelin-starred restaurant balances French and Japanese influences.

Street food in Bangkok Chinatown is one of the highlights of visiting Bangkok. In the evening, Yaowarat Road turns into a busy food street, packed with small carts, local restaurants, and smoky woks.
Lek Seafood (Lek & Rut) is one of those iconic places in Bangkok’s Chinatown that many travellers remember long after their trip. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it feels slightly chaotic—but that’s what makes it special.
Siwilai City Club is not your typical rooftop bar. It’s only on the 5th floor of Central Embassy, so you won’t get sweeping skyline views, but I’ve always liked it for the easy-going vibe
Penthouse Bar and Grill at Park Hyatt Bangkok is one of the most stylish rooftop venues in the city, and a great place to head after shopping at Central Embassy, which is just below.
Saneh Jaan is an award-winning Thai restaurant located in Sindhorn Tower on Wireless Road in Ploenchit, Bangkok. Known for serving authentic and traditional Thai cuisine, the restaurant is especially famous for its seasonal Khao Chae, a refreshing summer dish.
Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G combines fine dining with rooftop views from its 37th-floor location. Known for its extensive wine list and French-inspired menu, Scarlett offers dishes such as charcuterie boards and premium steaks in an elegant setting.
Belga Rooftop Bar and Brasserie at Sofitel Sukhumvit brings Belgian charm to Bangkok’s rooftop scene. Located on the 32nd floor, it offers authentic Belgian cuisine such as mussels and fries paired with an extensive selection of craft beers
Up and Above Bar at The Okura Prestige Bangkok is one of those rooftops that feels calm and elegant from the moment you step in. Located on the 24th floor, it doesn’t reach the dizzying heights of some of Bangkok’s tallest sky bars, but the view over the city is still wide and impressive, especially in the late afternoon light.
Throwback Rooftop Bar is a modest and reasonably priced rooftop bar located on the 9th floor of the Silom Edge Building, just across the road from the Silom MRT Station. The view of the busy road and the BTS Skytrain passing by regularly in front of Lumpini Park is a good photo opportunity.
Eagle Nest is one of those rooftops I keep going back to. It’s not high up like many others in Bangkok, but the view is hard to beat. Located right on top of Sala Rattanakosin Hotel, the bar looks directly across the river to Wat Arun.
Wattana Panich in Ekkamai serves one of Bangkok’s best beef noodle soups, simmered for decades in a giant pot. A true local classic.”

Discover Be My Guest restaurant Bangkok, a small riverside hideaway tucked between IconSiam and Millennium Hilton. Enjoy authentic Thai food with beautiful river views.
Tanbo Chicken Rice is a small and humble restaurant right on Yaowarat Road in Bangkok Chinatown, next to the famous Hua Seng Hong. It’s easy to miss, but locals and visitors line up for their chicken rice, especially in the evenings.
Blue Elephant Bangkok is one of those restaurants we like to recommend when friends visit the city and want to experience Thai food in a more refined setting.
Tonkatsu AOKI just opened at Velaa Sindhorn Village, and it’s already drawing queues every day, especially at lunch and weekends. I dropped by recently and waited almost 40 minutes before getting a table — and even then, it was a tight squeeze inside.
Baannok Bangkok on Langsuan Road is one of those places we keep going back to. It’s tucked away on the second floor of Vivre Langsuan, right across from Portico, but it feels more like someone’s living room than a city restaurant.
