Hotels in Ao Nang Beach, Krabi
Ao Nang is the main tourist town in Krabi, with the widest selection of hotels, restaurants, and tour agencies in the area. Most hotels are within walking distance of the beach and the main strip of shops and bars. The beach itself isn’t Krabi’s best (Railay is nicer), but Ao Nang works well as a base because longtail boats to Railay, the islands, and other beaches leave from here.
Hotels range from beachfront 5-stars to budget guesthouses on the back streets. The closer to the beach, the higher the price. Some of the inland resorts are set against limestone cliffs with their own pools, which can be a good trade-off if you don’t need to be on the sand.
