A Huge Water Park near Phuket Town ✓
Andamanda Phuket, located near Phuket Town on the way from Patong Beach, is a massive water park spanning an impressive 100,000 sq.m! This massive park features 25 attractions, including many impressive waterslides, a 10,000 sq.m. swimming area with artificial waves and the longest lazy river in southeast Asia (550 metres!).
Andamanda Phuket ranks high on our list of the most popular things to do in Phuket (especially with kids) and can get very busy during the high season and even more around the Songkran Festival in April as the temperature can rise to 38˙C!
Andamanda Phuket is divided into 5 main theme zones, all decorated with Thai mythology themes: The Pearl Palace, which is the reception and shop. Coral World is mostly dedicated to the young ones. Emerald Forest, The Great Andaman Bay, an immense swimming pool with a replica of the famous James Bond Island, and Naga Jungle, where we enjoyed the most adrenaline-pumping drops. Because some of the rides are very long and some drops are vertiginous, each ride comes with specific information: thrill level, minimum height and maximum weight requirements.

The Pearl Palace
The Pearl Palace is the main entrance of the Andamanda Phuket, where we buy our tickets, find our lockers and enjoy a vast boutique to buy toys, souvenirs or swimming or sunbathing items we may have forgotten to enjoy the water park.
Coral World
The rides and activities include Rolling Ripples, Atoll Adventures, Wonder Waterland and Little Reef for the youngest guests.
The Great Andaman Bay
The Great Andaman Bay features Andamanda Bay, Eagle Flyer, Rock’N’Raft, Curving Caverns, Moken’s Boat, and Sliding Boats. This is where we spotted the famous James Bond Island standing rock, locally known as Koh Tapu. As we got thirsty after all the water activities and exploration, we took a break for a refreshment at Wave Bar.
Naga Jungle
We had lots of fun at the Naga Jungle, which included racing nagas, cobra curls, Dragon’s Drop six lanes speed water slide, and Garuda Soars.
Emerald Forest
Emerald Forest is one of the most thrilling sections we found in the water park: Flight of the Kinnarees, where we ride down into a 3.1 metres-deep pool. Angel’s Slides is the longest duelling slide in Thailand. FlowRider is a well-known artificial wave surfing we never miss. Emerald Pool is a relaxing spot that is a bit less busy than the main pool, and Sand Bar is a big swim-up pool bar with transparent acrylic walls.
The Village
The village is a food court built around a pool that resembles a small traditional floating market. We often stop for a light lunch before going back to more fun activities.
